ACT4088

28V, 1.5A, 1.4MHz Step-Down DC/DC Converter in SOT23-6

The ACT4088 is a step-down PWM switch mode DC/DC converter with a built-in power MOSFET. It achieves 1.5A peak output current over a wide input supply range with excellent load and line regulation. Current mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization without the need for extra compensation components. Fault condition protection includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown.

The ACT4088 features a soft-start function that prevents overshoot under any conditions during startup or after recovering from an overload condition. The ACT4088 requires a minimum number of external components and is available in a tiny SOT23-6 package.
