ActivePMU^TM Power Management Units

Active-Semi's ActivePMU^TM family is a broad and unique line of digital and programmable power management ICs. These products combine best-in-class power conversion, regulation, back-lighting, and battery management with multiple intelligent features, resulting in cost-effective and space-saving portable applications. The ActivePMU^TM products are ideal for advanced portable devices.

High Power DC/DC Converters

The Active-Semi DC/DC product line consists of a broad line of high performance switching regulators with both synchronous and non-synchronous internal switch architectures.

Active-Semi has a very broad line of LED drivers for backlighting applications, consisting of both charge pump and DC-DC based solutions . Our WLED drivers offer the highest efficiency, lowest noise, and smallest footprints. Other features include accurate LED current matching, digital dimming and multiple output capability.

ActivePSR^TM AC/DC Converters

Active-Semi's innovative ActivePSR^TM family of offline primary feedback power supply controllers enable many advanced features to be integrated into a small package, resulting in the lowest total cost solutions. ActivePSR^TM ICs meet all green energy initiatives, yet are capable of high accuracy regulation and offer a wide range of safety features including over-current protection, over-temperature protection, short-circuit hiccup mode, and under-voltage lockout mechanisms.

Battery Charger ICs

One of our newest product lines, Active-Semi line of high performance battery charging ICs offer many standard features for battery safety and management, including pre-conditioning, safety timers, thermal regulation, battery series resistance compensation, and voltage and current adjustability.
